The Library is the ideal place to relax, floor-to-ceiling selve stuffed with monographs in various languages.
Have a cup of tea or a glass of organic orange juice while you flip through fine-art photography magazines or enjoy any of the wonderful local history books that your hosts make available to guests of the Villa.
Take a short walk through the garden and you arrive at the Orangerie, which houses the cozy greenhouse drawing-room and dining area. It is "the heart" of Aranjaya with its beautiful lava stone fireplace that provides warmth and atmosphere in the long autumn evenings.
The spacious and comfortable seating area is a perfect place for conversation, reading or simply enjoying the scenery visible through the large windows. Adjacent is the dining-room where guests can enjoy intimate meals, or as many as 60 people can be accommodated comfortably for special occasions. Charmingly detailed with Biendermaier antiques, walls hung with family-portraits, a beautiful collection of old parrot-prints and Sicilian porcelain; meals are always a memorable occasion in the Orangerie.
On the upper floor of the Orangerie is the Belvedere, a multifunctional space with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and surrounding valleys spanning all the way to the Nebrodi Mountains.
